Quasimorph

Plan contracts, equip operators, and get back to the Magnum alive. This wiki covers the systems that decide a campaign: faction pressure, ship upgrades, classes, weapons, Quasimorphosis, loot priorities, and safe extraction. Guides focus on repeatable decisions rather than pretending every save has the same contracts, operators, or supplies.

About the game

The game is a turn-based tactical survival game built around high-risk contracts across the solar system. Operators, equipment, faction relationships, ship infrastructure, and mission choices all shape a campaign, while a bad breach or overloaded inventory can end an otherwise strong run. Progress comes from learning when to fight, what to extract, which supplies to manufacture, and when an objective is complete enough to leave.

Quasimorph Beginner Guide

The opening is about establishing a contract-and-extraction loop, not gambling your best kit on the first distant mission. Keep the Magnum supplied, read objectives before deployment, and leave while you still have a margin for error.

  1. 1Unload after the tutorialReturn useful gear to Magnum cargo so the first real loadout is planned from everything you recovered.
  2. 2Stay local at firstChoose manageable nearby contracts whose travel time, floor count, and objective fit the supplies you can carry.
  3. 3Bring a complete kitA replaceable weapon, compatible ammunition, medicine, food, and water are usually safer than entering under-equipped.
  4. 4Extract after the objectiveOptional loot is valuable only while health, ammunition, calories, and Quasimorphosis leave a safe route out.

Quasimorph Classes Guide

Classes are strongest when paired with an operator's stats and talent, then equipped for the weapon and ammunition plan of the contract. A class choice is not separate from the loadout.

Early priorityChoose classes that support a reliable opening weapon and give the operator a clear job on the mission.
Ranged setupPrioritize range control, ammunition planning, and a close-range backup for enemies that reach the doorway.
Melee setupUse cover and positioning to avoid being surrounded; a heavy direct strike can outperform reckless weapon throws.
Unlock planningTreat new classes as options for specific operators and contracts, not automatic replacements for a proven setup.

Quasimorph Best Builds

Good builds solve a specific contract problem: surviving first contact, controlling a doorway, carrying enough supplies, or clearing a dangerous final floor.

  • Operator ranged build

Use a firearm with known range, enough compatible magazines, medicine, and a close-range answer for breached rooms.

  • Melee build

Build around cover, direct heavy attacks, and a route that keeps enemies from surrounding the operator.

  • Jan build

Plan equipment around Jan's strengths instead of forcing a weapon type that the contract cannot support.

Quasimorph Weapons Guide

Weapon value is about range, damage type, ammunition, recoil, and the room you expect to fight in. The best gun is often the one you can feed and use safely from cover.

  • Best weapons

Compare practical weapon roles, including close-range stopping power, pushback, and dependable corridor control.

  • All weapons

Browse weapon types, compatible ammunition, and their useful ranges before committing a loadout.

  • Upgrading weapons

Learn how weapon improvements fit alongside ship upgrades and a campaign's limited resources.

Quasimorph Armor Guide

Armor reduces risk, but it does not replace careful positioning. Check damage types, movement limits, carry weight, and whether the kit still leaves room for supplies and extraction loot.

  • Best armor

Choose protection for the threats on the contract rather than only chasing the largest visible armor value.

  • Frame armor

Understand frame armor options, tradeoffs, and how they affect a mission loadout.

  • Legend armor

Find details on rare armor pieces and when they are worth risking in a contract.

Quasimorph Quests and Contracts

Every contract should begin with a clear answer to what must be killed, hacked, defended, sabotaged, or extracted. Objectives and faction consequences matter more than clearing every room.

  • Main quest

Follow story progress without assuming every visible marker is the safest next step.

  • Required items

Check what needs to be carried, recovered, or extracted before launching the operation.

  • All endings

Review ending-related information and campaign choices.

Quasimorph Items and Upgrades

Loot selectively. Components, containers, ship upgrades, medicine, and supplies that solve a current shortage matter more than hauling every stack found on a station.

  • Item chips

Learn where item chips fit into progression and which ones support your current Magnum bottleneck.

  • Ship upgrades

Prioritize infrastructure that makes ordinary loadouts replaceable and reduces the cost of failed runs.

  • Tech level

Understand how faction technology affects the equipment and opportunities available during a campaign.

Quasimorph FAQ

Is this wiki free to use?

Yes. This fan-made site is free to read and does not require an account.

What should I do after the tutorial?

Unload recovered equipment, check Magnum upgrades, then take a manageable nearby contract with a clear objective and an extraction plan.

Should I save my best equipment?

Do not waste rare gear casually, but an adequate kit can prevent a loss that costs far more than the equipment used.

How should I approach combat?

Move deliberately, inspect threats, use doors and corners, keep range in mind, and avoid opening an unknown room with no actions left.

Should I loot every item?

No. Prioritize components, containers, upgrades, and supplies you actually need; overloading the operator can turn a safe extraction into a loss.

Is this the official game wiki?

No. This is a fan-made community wiki and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the developer or publisher.

New to the game?

Start with the beginner guide before taking a distant contract. It covers planning a loadout, reading the objective, using the Magnum, and extracting before a good run becomes a costly loss.
